Bandar Lampung – The Lampung Provincial Board of the Indonesian Dragon and Lion Dance Federation (FOBI) for the 2026–2030 term was officially inaugurated on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. The ceremony was held at the Rosemary Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Chandra Inn, Bandar Lampung, starting at 11:30 a.m. Western Indonesian Time.

Syalendra Siriwijaya Evan has been entrusted with leading FOBI Lampung as its Chairman for the 2026–2030 term. Together with the newly appointed board, he will oversee the organization and promote the development of dragon and lion dance sports throughout Lampung Province over the next four years.

The FOBI Lampung Provincial Board was inaugurated on behalf of PB FOBI President Edy Kusuma by PB FOBI Executive Chairman Arifin Himawan. He was accompanied by PB FOBI Deputy Secretary-General Andrean Wijaya.
The inauguration marked the beginning of a new period of service and responsibility for Syalendra Siriwijaya Evan and the entire FOBI Lampung Provincial Board. The newly appointed officials are expected to build a strong organization and continuously advance the development of dragon and lion dance sports throughout the province.

The ceremony was also attended by a representative of the Lampung Provincial Committee of the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI). Chairman of KONI Lampung Ir. Taufik Hidayat, M.M., M.E.P., was represented by KONI Lampung Deputy General Secretary IV Ir. A. Chrisna Putra, M.E.P.
Several prominent figures from Lampung were also present, including Alesius Bunawan, Indra Halim, Ali Kuku, and Yendiawan Toyib. The participation of various stakeholders demonstrated their support and shared commitment to advancing dragon and lion dance sports in Lampung Province.
In his remarks and directives, PB FOBI Executive Chairman Arifin Himawan emphasized the importance of unity, responsibility, and commitment among all board members in carrying out their organizational duties. The FOBI Lampung Provincial Board is expected to develop well-directed programs, strengthen the development of athletes and coaches, and improve the quality of regional events and competitions.
PB FOBI President Edy Kusuma also extended his congratulations to Syalendra Siriwijaya Evan and the entire FOBI Lampung Provincial Board for the 2026–2030 term.
“On behalf of the Executive Board of the Indonesian Dragon and Lion Dance Federation, I extend my congratulations to Mr. Syalendra Siriwijaya Evan and the entire FOBI Lampung Provincial Board for the 2026–2030 term on their official inauguration. This inauguration is not merely ceremonial; it marks the beginning of a new responsibility and commitment to advancing dragon and lion dance sports in Lampung Province,” Edy Kusuma stated in his message.
Edy Kusuma expressed his hope that the newly inaugurated board would build a stronger, more professional, and more active organization while expanding athlete development programs across the regencies and cities of Lampung Province.
“I hope the FOBI Lampung Provincial Board will maintain unity and establish strong cooperation with KONI Lampung, the regional government, dragon and lion dance clubs, and all relevant stakeholders. I also hope the board will develop more outstanding athletes who can bring pride to Lampung at the national level and represent Indonesia on the international stage,” he continued.
PB FOBI also expects the FOBI Lampung Provincial Board to strengthen its sustainable development system, improve the quality of its human resources, and uphold sportsmanship and good organizational governance.

With the inauguration of Syalendra Siriwijaya Evan and the entire board, FOBI Lampung is expected to continue growing and become one of the key contributors to the advancement of dragon and lion dance sports in Indonesia.
