Bulungan, June 24, 2025 — The Federation of Barongsai Sports Indonesia (FOBI) of North Kalimantan proudly earned three awards at the prestigious SIWO PWI Awards II 2025, organized by the Sports Journalists Section (SIWO) of the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) of North Kalimantan.
The award ceremony took place on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the 1st Floor of the Gadisda II Building, North Kalimantan Provincial Government Office, Jl. Rambutan No. 05, Bulungan Regency, starting at 09:00 WITA until completion. The event was attended by key figures in the world of sports and served as a moment to recognize individuals and organizations who have shown achievement, dedication, and care for the development of sports in Indonesia.

The SIWO PWI Awards II is a form of appreciation given by sports journalists to athletes, coaches, organizations, and stakeholders in sports. FOBI Kaltara Secures Three Awards at Once
FOBI North Kalimantan successfully received three awards during the SIWO PWI Awards II 2025 ceremony. The categories won are as follows:
- Outstanding Sports Coach
Awarded to Coach Ferdy, the head coach of FOBI North Kalimantan. - Outstanding Team Sports Branch
Awarded to FOBI North Kalimantan. - Lifetime Achievement
Awarded to Mr. Alung Tjandra, Chairman of FOBI North Kalimantan Province.
