The Bekasi Regency Federation of Dragon and Lion Dance Indonesia (FOBI) successfully held the 2025 Bekasi Regency Championship (KEJURKAB) as a selection event for athletes competing in the Qualification Round of the West Java Provincial Sports Week (Porprov) 2025. The competition took place on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Hollwood Junction Jababeka, Cikarang Utara, Bekasi Regency, from 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
The championship was attended by 85 athletes from five training centers (sasana) under the supervision of FOBI Bekasi Regency. Participants ranged from student to adult categories, competing in a knockout system with one round per event, where winners were determined by the highest score.
Through the 2025 KEJURKAB, FOBI Bekasi Regency successfully fostered unity and camaraderie among local sasana, strengthened the mentality and skills of athletes, and further introduced dragon dance as a competitive sport to the wider community. The results of this championship also determined the best athletes to represent Bekasi Regency in the Qualification Round of the West Java Porprov 2025.
